Our humble roots run back to the winter of 2011 It was the first time I seen a large flocked christmas tree in the lobby of a downtown hotel. Decked with comforting white lights and snow-themed decor it took me back to treasured childhood memories. Intrigued, I began looking for ways to replicate the effect at home. To my surprise I found no stores, no online information, nothing about getting flocking at home. So, I decided to create my own. That's when our first product, SnoFlock, was born. We officially launched SnoFlock in our little ebay store in 2014 and from there, it became a bit of an at-home sensation. We gained instant popularity with at-home DIY'ers and bloggers for its wonderous appeal: you simply shake this powder from a sifter, spray onto your tree with water, and presto! Snow flocked tips and branches. Ever since SnoFlock, I became increasingly tied to the nostalgia of Christmas. In 2015 I decided to name the company Seasons Reflection, a name coined for my attempts to reflect the season of the past. I became increasingly focused on the little things that brought warmth and charm of yesteryear to the holidays. In 2016, our family had enough of white LED Christmas lights, they hurt the eyes, are far too yellow or pink—colors looked more akin to a runway strip than charming Christmas lights. That's when we decided we needed to bring back the vintage glow! Starting with researching everything we could about LED's, we soon realized that having pure warm LED light is not as simple as it sounds, it needs a perfect harmony of elements such as phosphor and blue light emissions to create perfectly balanced warm rich light. So, we created our very own LED which we've used as the hallmark for our new mini light strings. In late 2018, we officially began working on getting our LED's economical enough to make into mini light strings and bulbs. It took years of speaking with manufactures' and suppliers to finally get to a point where there was an understanding of the end came we were looking for: warm, rich colors, in a classic traditional light string. We wanted that Vintage Glow. It wasn't until 2021 when we finally found a company who understood our crazy. With their expertise in manufacturing, they helped us in the final development our line of Yule Multi and VintaClear led Christmas lights. When we first wired up our string with all the elements and plugged them in, we knew we had captured the Vintage-Glow... it was the VintaGlo. Officially launched in fall of 2023, VintaGlo is the newest member of the Seasons Reflection Co. family. We continue to look for more yesteryear charms and Christmas delights to revive with true impressions of their former best selves. (Internally we coined it: improve perfection, but without notice) The future holds many more reflections.
